My Lucky Wish Blog
return to store

Now that the new site has launched and things are running so smoothly, we can now continue with some new product debuts.

We’ve had these bags in the works for some time and they are finally available!  Lots of colors, plenty of original designs, a million ways to use our drawstring packs.  Here are a few suggestions…yoga, dance, ballet, gymnastics, day at the pool or beach, books, quick grocery trip, add a coordinating water bottle or tshirt for THE perfect gift, trip to the zoo with the kids.  Just think how great these would be for your out-of-town wedding guest goody bags!  Oh, and bridesmaids will love such a practical gift.  Seriously, there’s lots of good uses.

Currently available in lavender, navy, red, orange, light blue and hot pink, they are made of super durable polyester that can be just wiped clean, strong seams and a coordinating nylon cord to cinch closed.  And, of course, our original, fresh, lovely, personalized designs that make it just right!

A few designs have been listed, but if you don’t see one that just clicks, then search our entire website for the design that will.  Absolutely will do custom designs for groups, family, wedding party, etc.  Just email info@myluckywish.com with the details.

Today is St. Patrick’s Day so I felt it was appropriate to share something with you.

I have a little obsession.  It started about a year ago and honestly I don’t know where it came from.  I’ve been hooked on the color green.  Not just any green, but that apple, chartreuse-y, lime green.  Kelly green is fine, but those other greens are just gooood stuff.  As you can see from so many of the new designs on the new site, green seems to be a recurring theme.  I think of a limeade from Sonic (with the crushy ice), the green leaves of my hostas trying to come up after a long winter…a clean, fresh beginning.

Then there’s that other green.  Going green, being green.   Don’t be mistaken… the studio, my home, my lifestyle would not be considered very “green”, but I find myself trying to be conscientious when looking to add new products to our line of goods.  Our reusable aluminum and stainless steel water bottles and stainless steel travel mugs mean a few less plastic bottles in the landfill.  Our stationery is printed on recycled papers.  For picnics and gatherings, our melamine plates are a very stylish and green alternative to paper plates.  For those of you who have received an order in a box that was a little scuffed up, it’s because we reused it from something we might have ordered.  These are just examples and there is more, but my point is even the smallest things add up.

Trust me…I’m not calling anybody out and not asking anyone to take a look at themselves.  But if you ever wanted to know if My Lucky Wish even cared about the 3 R’s (reduce, reuse, recyle)….well, we do and we do try.

Ah, back to thinking about those pretty greens….

Since this new website and blog setup are soooo easy to use (compared to the old days), I am posting again today.  No, I probably won’t post everyday but today seems like a good day to post some details to THE most asked questions of the last few days…..

Yes, the stainless steel water bottles really are stainless steel and BPA-free.  No, I don’t know why other companies are only doing the aluminum, but I’m absolutely, positively sure you will begin seeing them pop up in more places.  It’s the industry and it’s just the way it goes!!  No, the design is not a label.  Using labels means handwashing and knowing you can throw our stainless steel bottles (and aluminum ones, too) in the dishwasher was a more important option to me.  Yes, the widemouth opening is definitely big enough to get ice cubes through.  Yes, they are lead-free and food-safe as all of our products are.  We don’t sell lead around here!!  Yes, the sippy converters with the sippy spouts (the converter we carry, the Avent spouts, we don’t) fit and work just great.  And lastly, yes, any design or pattern on our website can be put on these fabulous bottles.  Just email us if you have any questions about that.

They really are that great and you will see these in more places because they are the next big thing and just plain smart, smart, smart.  We’ll do them for cheer teams, family reunions, groups, whatever so email us at info@myluckywish.com with your event details.  After all of that, I KNOW you want to get one,  so click here to order.
